How Does this Course Work?
The student must complete the Precourse Work before taking the ACLS Course. The student must email their completion certificate prior to the class. The ACLS Precourse Work involves the student to review the course content through online videos before entering the classroom. The video lessons cover multiple medical subjects and each lesson includes questions to engage the student. This precourse work allows more classroom time for hands-on skills training which leads to the student being better prepared to participate as soon as they enter the classroom. To summarize, students must complete the 4 hour Precourse work at home and then come in for the classroom portion. Please keep in mind, you MUST complete this to attend this course.
American Heart Association has made it mandatory that you complete the ACLS Precourse self-assessment; a score of 90% or higher is required. Once you register, the information will be provided in the confirmation email.
